Sundays starting May 19, 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm – Trouble following along in the siddur? Want to get a better handle on the sounds of the Jewish people’s sacred language? Taking place on Zoom over seven Sunday evenings beginning May 19, this two-hour weekly spring crash course led by translator and Hebrew teacher extraordinaire Rahel Halabe will equip you to read and sound out the words of our siddur, as well as Biblical and Modern Hebrew in general- zero prior knowledge necessary. Consider it a masterclass in the Aleph-Bet. By the time the fall rolls around, you’ll be ready to confidently engage in Emanu-El’s next round of in-depth Hebrew offerings.
