Photo Contest Meets its Natural End!

Photo Contest, Naturally, is over.

28 photographers sent 152 images.

The entries were judged anonymously. Five judges had the arduous, yet enviable, task of selecting a winning image. What actually happened: four judges tied two photos (by the same photographer) for first place, and one judge–the outlier–chose what has become our honourable mention. Both photographers will receive their just desserts. Many thanks to our esteemed judges: Nadin Boeno, Graham Dragushan, Rick Kool, Tillie Stanger-Ross, Julie Whittrock.

Our Photo Contest Ends! Oh! The Desserts!

After 4 months, and (at the time of publication) 137 photos by 27 photographers, this iconic contest has ended. The photographers have made the process of selecting the winner a formidable task for our 5 conscientious judges. Much gratitude to the dynamic and perceptive photographers and the swamped judges.

The winning photo will be announced, fittingly, just before Shavuot, the feast of revelation: June 3, 2022.

This week’s photos come courtesy of Anat Gabler (non-competitive). The winner will be announced in next Friday’s newsletter.
