With deepest gratitude and appreciation for all of her years running the best Hebrew School this side of the Rockies, for her dedication to Camp Miriam, and for making warm nurturing educational environments for our children.

This kiddush luncheon is in memory of Cabe William Crossman z”l, son of Sarah Corrin and Lyndon Crossman.

Oppenheimer family celebrates Canadian citizenship

They were among 101 people from 27 countries to receive their citizenship certificates at the ceremony. In celebration of this event they invite you to join them for a kiddush luncheon following services on Saturday, October 26, 2019.

Youth Group leads Shabbat Services: Ickovich family sponsors Kiddush

EE Youth Group 2Saturday, May 11, 2019-—On Saturday, May 11 our Youth Group will lead many parts of the Shabbat morning services. Following the service, Avi & Nora Ickovich and family invite the congregation to a kiddush luncheon on the occasion of the Yahrzeit (May 11) of Avi’s father, Aaron Z”L ben Rabbi Alexander Ickovich Z”L, and the sixth anniversary of the Bar Mitzvah of Avi & Nora’s son, Isaac who is pictured below with his grandfather.

Saturday, March 16 at Congregation Emanu-El — Please join us following services for a kiddush luncheon honouring Janna Ginsberg Bleviss, a woman who is one of the golden volunteers in our synagogue and in the larger Jewish community. With a generosity of spirit, Janna steps in when needed. This is an opportunity to say “Thank you” to her.
