Sunday, November 26 — The Jewish Community Centre (JCC) of Victoria’s 4thAnnual Craft Fair will take place on Sunday, November 26 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Jewish Community Centre of Victoria (3636 Shelbourne Street)
The JCC’s Annual craft fair features unique items from talented local artisans, a Hanukkah Gift Table, baked goods and refreshments from the JCCV Deli. Admission is FREE.
Kolot Mayim Reform Temple presents a Sunday Jewish Art
Program for Kids ages 7 and up on February 5, 19 and 26, 2–4 pm, at the
Jewish Community Centre, 3636 Shelbourne Street, Victoria.
The 3-session fee is $105 with all materials
included. Course is being taught by
artist and art instructor, Susan Abrill.

Wednesday, April 22nd, from 5:30pm at the Jewish Community Centre of Victoria
The event will open with a Yom HaZikaron observance, featuring the sounding of the sirens, candle lighting and reflections, and prayers and remembrance for Israel’s fallen and those impacted by conflict and terrorism in the region. Following the singing of HaTikvah (Israel’s National Anthem), we will celebrate Yom HaAtzmaut with music and a Kosher Israeli-Style Falafel Dinner, featuring Falafel, Pita, Hummus, Israeli Salad, Halva, Bamba for the kids and more!
The evening will also feature a special musical performance by Josie Davidson.
There is no charge for this event, although donations will be graciously accepted.
This event is being presented by the Jewish Federation of Victoria & Vancouver Island with the venue sponsored by the Jewish Community Centre of Victoria.
The Jewish Community Centre of Victoria Lox, Stock & Bagel Deli has started bringing in individually pre-packaged Kosher Meals from Classic Impressions Catering in Vancouver. Classic Impressions is an off-shoot of the Vancouver Kosher Food Warehouse and is BC Kosher (BCK) certified. Meal selections include:

Asian Grilled Chicken Breast with Roasted Couscous and Veggies
Grilled Chicken Breast in Balsamic BBQ Sauce with Couscous and Veggies

The Jewish Seniors Wheels to Meals Program is a highlight for many seniors. It is especially designed to meet the needs of those seniors without means of transportation who rely on others every time they need to leave their place of residence.
