Sunday, March 3, 2019 at 2 pm Congregation Emanu-El — Set in the turbulent times of Mandate Palestine, Eva Salomon’s War, tells of a young Jewish woman’s love affair with a British policeman. As friction between Britain and the Jews intensifies, Eva falls under ever greater pressure to choose sides and becomes the target of extremists. This is a story of love, loss, betrayal and resilience. The questions raised about moral choices in that complex era resonate in our own day.
