The Light of Courage: demonstrating resilience in the face of hatred and fear

Hanukkiah 2018

Sunday December 9, 2018, from 5:00 pm at Centennial Square — Post Pittsburgh massacre of our brothers and sisters we gather our courage and show up. We show up for unity and for understanding. We show up to demonstrate that compassion and connection are the antidotes to the growing fear and separation in our world.

Join Congregation Emanu-El at a joyous and raucous Public Menorah Lighting for Ḥanukkah because courage always transcends fear,  unity is stronger than division and love wins over hate.  All are welcome.

We are pleased to announce that once again our musical headliner will be the ever popular Victoria High Rhythm and Blues Band. And, of course, sufganiyot (traditional doughnuts) will be served up to enhance the holiday spirit!
