Sunlight bathed the sanctuary, the cello resonated and Josie thrilled those present with her rendition of “All the world is a narrow bridge”. There were poems creating images of trains and bridges and grandsons in red bike helmets. And there was cake — and champagne. November 15th witnessed a beautiful launch of a new book of poetry!
Thank you to an attentive audience and to Rabbi Harry for a lovely introduction. Thanks to those who bought books. I hope you read them with care, slowly, as poetry needs to be read. For those of you, who missed the event, check out Penny’s fabulous photos, and there will be books sold in the gift shop and in bookstores around the city.
