Emanu-El’s Got Pride (again)

Sunday, July 10th

It’s time for Pride again! Start
getting your rainbow coloured outfits together and thinking about how you can
make a splash at one of Victoria’s largest family-friendly parades!

We would like to see some musicians!

This has
become a tradition for our synagogue, because we want people to know we care.

Congregation Emanu-El and friends
who support LGBTQ
inclusion, LGBTQ
congregants, allies and friends are going to march in the parade on July 10th this year with
song, dance and lots of ruaḥ to show
our pride and support.

As in other years, we’re going to
meet at the synagogue at 10:30 a.m., to prepare so we can walk over together to the
assembly point (11:00 deadline) at Pandora and Government. The parade starts at
12 noon.

Why are we doing this? Because we’re
an inclusive, integral Jewish congregation who embrace the LGBTQ community
and friends and because we always like to have fun!

This year we would like to see some
musicians to lead us in song and dance so your ideas are always welcome.
