An Evening of Remembrance and Resiliency
Monday, November 9, 2015, from 7pm at Congregation Emanu-El Synagogue
The Victoria Holocaust
Remembrance and Education Society invites you to our annual remembrance of
Kristallnacht (Night of Broken Glass). This year’s program will include a
candle-lighting ceremony in memory of those who lost their lives in the
Holocaust, with candles being lit by survivors as well as second- and
third-generation descendants of family members who perished. There will also be
a diverse and multigenerational mix of presenters, musicians, readings and a
special, symbolic activity representing hope and resiliency.
