Kristallnacht commemoration

An Evening of Remembrance and Resiliency

Monday, November 9, 2015, from 7pm at Congregation Emanu-El Synagogue

The Victoria Holocaust
Remembrance and Education Society invites you to our annual remembrance of
Kristallnacht (Night of Broken Glass). This year’s program will include a
candle-lighting ceremony in memory of those who lost their lives in the
Holocaust, with candles being lit by survivors as well as second- and
third-generation descendants of family members who perished. There will also be
a diverse and multigenerational mix of presenters, musicians, readings and a
special, symbolic activity representing hope and resiliency.

For more information, email Elisheva
or Micha Menczer, or see the Spiritually Speaking column in  The Times Colonist (or in the righthand sidebar of the front page of the online Times Colonist, under Featured Blogs – Spiritually Speaking.)
